Giclée (pronounced gee-Clay) is a French term meaning “Ink Jet Spray”.
The process is a form of printing used to create high quality fine art reproductions and is generally reserved for prints on canvas. Archival inks, canvas and varnish coats are fade resistant and are as durable as original oil paintings.
The technique begins with a high resolution digital scan of the original that accurately represents color, textural brush work and detail.
The canvas print can then be enhanced by Randy. He uses oil paint adding color and texture over the entire image to create a one of a kind art piece. Most canvas editions are limited to 75 and are signed and numbered.
Custom sizes are available up to 40 x 60 canvas size.
